A Healthy Lifestyle = More Savings?

One Money Magnet went shopping a couple of weeks back and took a photo of the grocery items he bought and came to a shocking realization.  The picture on the left shows what he bought during this grocery trip.  As you can see, he bought vegetables, fruits, yogurt, cheese, biscuits, candies, and chocolates!    


This Money Magnet has been trying to add more greens into his diet.  That's the reason for the leafy vegetables and the fruits.  He would blend the fruits together with the leafy vegetables to make a green smoothie.  "No, it's not a diet plan," he says, "it's a supplement to my diet."  He drinks these green smoothies not aiming to lose weight but rather aiming to increase his nutritional intake.  If you haven't heard, the Chlorophyll in green leafy vegetables is said to closely resemble the molecular structure of human blood.  It is also considered as "Alkaline food" which helps your system become alkaline, making it harder for cancer cells to grow.  

We at Money Magnets believe that in order to continuously attract wealth, one must be healthy all around.  You must be physically, mentally, and spiritually rich!  After all, what good would attracting money do for you if you are not healthy enough to enjoy them. 

Well, enough of the segue, read on to find out what shocking realization this Money Magnet came up with by looking at his grocery items.  


Taking a closer look at the grocery items, he realized that if he were to break down the expenses of his grocery items, he would come up with the following percentages:


  • Leafy Green Vegetables                         5%
  • Assorted Fruits                                     15%
  • Dairy Products                                      25%
  • Biscuits, Candies, Chocolates           55%
By now I'm sure you've all figured it out already as well.  55% of the total grocery expense went into what we would normally classify as junk or comfort food!  While all the stuff that is certified good for one's body only comprises 20% of the total.  And dairy products, while they can be good for the body as well, are naturally expensive.

This leads us to conclude that keeping a healthy lifestyle could potentially lead to more savings for all of us.  Not only is good food cheaper,  it is all that are body really needs to stay healthy and strong.  We do believe however, that moderation is important and that an occasional indulgence in chocolates or whatever your favorite dessert may be, is beneficial as well.  It may not keep you slim but it'll for sure help keep you mentally stable!

    Doctors are advising patients to eat more and more green vegetables. Green vegetables make you strong and healthy. Doctors are of the opinion that green vegetables contain essential vitamins and proteins required by the human body. So, you must include at least 1 green item in your diet every day.

    There is one proverb called “health is wealth”. So, if you are not healthy, then it will not be possible for you to work hard. If yon can’t work hard, then you can make much money. This means that you may not be able to fulfill your financial needs or solve your debt problems with competence.

    So eat green vegetables and be healthy and wealthy at the same time.
