This saying holds true in every aspect of our life. Whatever we focus on will have a tendency to grow and expand. And the inverse also holds true, whatever we do not focus on will stagnate. It is therefore important for us to evaluate where our focus is and if this is aligned with our goals in life.
Here are some examples on how you can apply this in life.
SELF-DEVELOPMENT
Focus on yourself! Keep on growing and learning. When you focus on your growth, you will never run out of ideas. You will live life with enthusiasm. You will never get bored. You will never fail, for your accomplishment is the journey itself.
Focus on developing yourself rather than working on your achievements. When we grow as a person, it is but natural that we also achieve more.

HAPPINESS and ABUNDANCE

Focus on what you have and be grateful for all your blessings everyday. If you do this consistently you will notice a shift in your energy and your outlook towards life. Before you know it, life will be full of abundance.
NET WORTH and FINANCES
If we want to increase our net worth, then we must focus on managing and investing our money. Keep track of your net worth on a monthly basis. Stay true to "paying yourself first." Use the formula INCOME - INVESTMENTS = EXPENSES. Implement the Money Jar system!
STOCK TRADING and INVESTING
If you want to succeed in stock trading, focus on the PROCESS. Do not focus on the stock prices rather focus on your entry and exit points. Focus when to put in your money and when to take it out. Do not focus on the money! I repeat, do not focus on the money - profits and losses (P&L). Focusing on the money will get you out of a trade prematurely.
Instead, focus ... focus ... focus ... on the process. Follow the process, follow your trading plan. When you focus on the process, the Money, the results will just follow.
In investing, the same principle holds true! Focus on the process! If you are into SAM (Strategic Averaging Method) or any other type of cost-averaging strategy, make sure you follow the process and put in money regularly! Do not try and time the market. It is much better to just do it religiously and consistently. Trust the process.
