On Marriage and Finance

- You will never achieve financial freedom if you have debt.
- Pay off all your debt first before you start saving.
- The most common financial sin is Credit Card debt.

Stock Market Blueprint - Philippines
I am a Money Magnet! We are Money Magnets!
In Summary:
In Summary:
- With a Price Earning Ratio (PER) of above 14x, the Philippine stock market remains to be the most expensive. This is above the country's 15-year average of 15.5x but still significantly lower that it's peak of 16.7x back in 2007. (BPI Asset Management)
- Philippine PER is higher than Asian market PER of 12x (Julian Tarrobago Jr., ATR Kim Eng Asset Management)
- While expensive, fund managers still believe that the PSEi will surge in the fourth quarter and end the year with record highs. BPI Asset Management said that 5,500 is very much achievable. While Julian Tarrobago of ATR Kim Eng has set a higher target of 5,800.
- Growth will be powered by a surging Philippine economy, better than expected corporate earnings, low inflation rate, and higher market turnover (participation in the stock market).
- Sector-wise BPI is still bullish on PROPERTY firms, CONSTRUCTION companies, and FINANCIAL institutions.
- Mr. Tarrobago on the other hand suggested looking at small cap stocks that are "less-known, small and medium-sized companies capable of strong growth."

"Bagong Simula" sa Bagong Taon
Bagong Simula is the official theme song of the BAYANIJUAN Foundation launched by ABS-CBN last June 12, 2008 (Independence day). The foundation "aspires to awaken the giving heart in every Filipino, and to encourage each one, to extend a helping hand so that every man, woman and child in the Philippines has a chance to make all of his or her dreams come true."
Wow! That is some vision. I will be supporting this foundation in the coming years. I hope you guys will do the same. "Walang Iwanan sa bayanijuan!"
[Kevin Roy]
Parang isang gabing walang katapusan
Sa bawat mesa, asin lagi ang ulam
umaalog sa alkansya pisong pinagpawisan
Batang nakahubad kumot ang lansangan
[Yael Yuzon]
lupaing kinalbo minsa’y nadidilig
Ng dugo sa away ng kapatid sa kapatid
[Mark Abaya]
Sa kalagayang ito tayo ay nakagapos
Parang awa sana ay dito magtapos
(CHORUS)Todo na to!
Liparin ang langit na bughaw
Liparin ang langit na bughaw
Pagningningin mga tala at araw
Mamumulang muli ang silangan
sa bagong simula ng ating bayan
[Kitchie NAdal]
wag lang maulit kapalarang kay pait
wag magpabaya wag kang manahimik
wag kang manlalamang, wag kang manggigipit
wag magkanya-kanya, magkaisang bisig
[Yeng Constantino]
Pag malasakit ito’y kabayanihan
gawin mo ano mang makayanan
kalagayan ng baya’y sumasama lamang
kung walang gagawin tayong mamamayan
(Chorus)Todo na to!
Liparin ang langit na bughaw
Liparin ang langit na bughaw
Pagningningin mga tala at araw
Mamumulang muli ang silangan
sa bagong simula ng ating bayan
[Placid]
Liparin ang langit na bughaw
Pagningningin mga tala at araw
Mamumulang muli ang silangan
sa bagong simula ng ating bayan
[Tugma]
[Narration]
[Narration]
Ipakita natin sa ating mga magulang
mga kapatid kaya natin to
isang subok pa, sabay sabay walang kokontra,
(CHORUS)Todo na to!
Liparin ang langit na bughaw
Liparin ang langit na bughaw
Pagningningin mga tala at araw
Mamumulang muli ang silangan
Mamumulang muli ang silangan

Bagong simula ng ating bayan

I am simply in love with the foundation's name. "Bayanijuan" rhymes with "Bayanihan", more over, it can mean "bayan ni juan", and at the same time "bayani si juan" as well.
